Hello!
My name is Ashley Ryan-Taillie
and I am the art teacher at
Laurelton-Pardee Intermediate School!

The 2021-22 school year will be my 9th year of teaching art, and my 7th year at LP! I earned my Bachelor's and Master's in Art Education at Nazareth College.

I was an artist before I was an art educator. My first passion as a young artist was drawing, specifically portraits. When I went to college and was able to explore different mediums, I discovered that I loved everything fiber arts! This includes sewing, quilting, weaving, needle-felting, crochet, knitting, fabric art and so much more. I have found that my students love the fiber arts as much as I do, and try to give each grade level a taste of fiber arts each year.
My goal is to create an engaging art program that is relevant and meaningful to all of our LP students. My mantra is "Make Art Matter".

In May of 2021 I got married and am now going by "Mrs. Ryan-Taillie!" We have a rescue puppy named Penny and we spend a lot of time hiking and walking with her!
